This was my first worldpackers expierence and I loved it! the big common area is nice to meet the guests and chat with them. I enjoyed the surflessons and the free breakfast haha. Mariana and Caetano are very friendly people! I've only been here for weeks but I felt at home very quick and easly. Malveira da Serra is not that big but it is beautiful. I could work a lot on my laptop during my shifts and in my free time it was easy to get to city's close by like Cascais, Sintra and Lisbon. Thank you the guest house xxxx

The time I spent here was fantastic. Evenings we spent with the team and guests , hikes I did, nature beauties I saw here … I will keep it all in my memories and will wait for the chance to come back

I had a great time at the lodge. The mountains in the area are beautiful and great for hiking. The people are very nice and welcoming. The tasks are not difficult, but you are expected to be at the lodge at certain times. This was not a hindrance to anything I had planned, and is easy to work around. The surf lessons are amazing.

The guest house was really the best experience! The people who worked there were really friendly and i felt very welcomed by them. They try to integrate you to the surf lessons as often as possible. I get to know many new people and with some dinner together you get very close with them all. I recommend it to everyone who want to learn surfing or already surf. The tasks were really easy, some check ins and making breakfast. I definitly would love to come back because it was just the best time there!

This was a super cool experience! Caetano is very welcomening, the lodge is very cozy and clean, the job is eazy and the tasks are not many. You get also to join to surf lessons, yoga lessons, tours… and the nature here is magical. Also the hostel is not so big so you get to meet everybody and share with them the surf experience!

The guest house felt like home, nice people and Pedro took care of our needs, I can't put in worlds how I felt in that place. I didn't know how to surf (don't know much yet) and they let me joined every day that was possible. Basically what I did, was to prepare breakfast, cleaned up everything when guests finish and then if there were check-in, help Pedro with them. We had lot of dinners with the guests, thanks mike for cooking for us the deliciousness of the local food, and thank you for every laugh we shared. I met incredible people, definitely would love to come back

La casa no es una escuela de surf, es una familia. Es un lugar que te recibe con los brazos abiertos y te hace sentir como en casa desde el primer día. Es un espacio de amigos, comunidad, aprendizaje… y también de tranquilidad. Me llevo a cada persona que conocí, los lugares que descubrí, los atardeceres sobre la tabla y las noches de BBQ compartiendo historias, risas y pedacitos de nuestras culturas. Me voy llena de mar, de conversaciones bonitas y de la certeza de haber estado justo donde tenía que estar. Gracias por tanto, la casa. Nos volveremos a encontrar.🌊💙

Pontos positivos: quarto confortável, região linda de ser explorada, troca cultural, aulas de surf bem legais. Pontos negativos: não fui recebida quando cheguei, não tive o café da manhã incluso como está escrito aqui na plataforma, não comunicaram os objetivos do trabalho voluntário de forma clara. A Mariana me enviou materiais de vídeo e foto do último verão para trabalhar, eu trabalhei neles, criei um calendário de conteúdo e nunca tive feedback sobre o trabalho, fui embora sem postar nenhum conteúdo.

La experiencia en Mobydick fue hermosa. Un mes de conectar con el mar y la naturaleza. Clases de surf todas las semanas. La mejor predisposición de Mariana para que pueda hacer actividades que me diviertan. Mobydick es familia, te hacen sentir parte de la familia y hacen que trasmitemos esa vibra a los huespedes.
