Even though i had to leave early, my time at the camping was the best experience in my entire life and i will forever be grateful for this opportunity. Maddie and Alexi are amazing people that were always open for a healthy conversation no matter what happened. I got to meet so many great people and learned a lot from this experience. The hours of the job were as we agreed to, the kids were really lovely, and in my free time i got to experience almost the entire island. I'll never forget this place and how healthy and respectful the environment was. Big thanks to everyone at the camping

I arrived on 3.08 and left on 5.08, as I found the sanitary conditions in the facility dangerous and the host's behaviour unethical. All volunteers were accommodated in tents, exposed to sun all day and next to a sanitary tank with a bad odor which means risk of dangerous diseases. I found the hygiene in the kitchen facilities and from some personnel members bad and unacceptable according to the law. All volunteers upon arrival were asked to sign a fake training contract, intended to mislead the local authorities, as their actual work is officially considered illegal.

Had an amazing 5 weeks volunteering at the camping. The family and rest of the team were lovely and made me feel very welcomed, the work load isn't anything crazy, it's simple and quick shifts giving you plenty of time to relax and explore. Also crazy good cheap appy spritz's down the road.

Worked 6.30am-11.30am breakfast shift and had the rest of the day off to chill by the beach and do my own online learning. Really enjoyed my work as I get to talk to guests during breakfast. Definitely took awhile to adapt to cultural differences (being the only Asian here). But after some time, the camping feels like home. Love the community they've built here and will 100% miss the delicious meals by Louisa and Arene. Host was gracious enough to adapt to my gluten allergy too, which I really appreciate. 10/10 recommend. Feel so calm and stress-free after one month of living on the island :)

Loved loved loved being at the camping! Maddie, Alexi and the rest of the family are awesome and lovely to work for, made me feel super at home. Other volunteers and staff were great and had an amazing six weeks with everyone. I worked breakfast, it's easy hospo work and gives you all afternoon off. Missing it already! Especially mango 🐕 see you next year!

The camping is an incurable place to volunteer at and I would recommend it to anyone. The tasks are simple to understand and follow. Marie put a roster together on a weekly basis that is simple to follow. The environment is incredible and in your off time you have full freedom to explore the camping island. The beach is a short walk away and easy to access. Alexi and Maddie are the best people to work with - they are welcoming, friendly and love to get to know everyone.

This was a truly great experience, the whole family was very welcoming and it was easy to make friends with other volunteers and staff. There is a beach and market close by that are very convenient. During my stay I ended up with some physical/health issues and they were very respectful and kind in limiting my hours and giving me tasks i was able to do. They are very respectful and kind and I will definitely be back again:)
