The experience

Help the owner and manager in anything that requires to be done to make the place better and nicer. The work is mainly regarding maintenance of the different houses (with a huge garden and amazing seaview). The location is a former hostel on an island with amazing beaches and active night life. The owner of the place is a filmmaker from Europe. The place is now turning a center of healing and well being, with yoga, and meditation amongst others.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Fluent English or Beginner Portuguese

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Activities & Shift

This will be discussed between the manager and the volunteer. Generally speaking, the work is required in the morning, between 8am and midday.
