What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.


What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate French

Between 18 and 55 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

What We Expect From You:
As our Carpentry Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing the living spaces and facilities at our forest sanctuary. Your primary responsibilities will include renovating existing structures and constructing new installations with our own wood that improve our habitat areas. We look for someone skilled in woodworking, who can handle everything from basic repairs to complete builds.

Your tasks will involve:
-Renovating and repairing buildings to enhance comfort and functionality.
- Constructing new features, such as communal areas, viewing platforms, and small dwellings.
- Collaborating with our team to design and implement structures that blend with and respect the natural environment.

We value precision, creativity, and a respect for nature in our work. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team will be essential.


Activities & Shift

You will have the opportunity to adapt your schedule as preferred but we recommande early morning 5hr shift from 7:00 to 12:00 (5 hours per day/5days).
