Mrs. Annick welcomed me very well, I was able to improve my English a lot, the people there are very kind and patient, they treat you like a member of the family and try to make you feel comfortable. The landscape is very beautiful and the tasks are relatively simple. The landscape is beautiful and you can get to Germany by bike. Totally recommended :D

The tasks in the morning were not complicated, including feeding the animals, cleaning the toilet building and also preparing rooms according to the guests arrival. It lets a lot of free time to visit the surrounding and we can use a bike. Annick is so welcoming, she makes sure the WorldPackers feel like home and she has such a cuddly dog. As I stayed at the end of the year, she made me discover Dutch traditions for the New Year. It was the best thing I could expect for a first volunteering experience, I 100% recommend it!

Annick is very kind and welcoming, she was the most involved host I've had so far on my trip. She cooks wonderful meals and communicates the work tasks well. The work itself is simple and usually outdoors besides a few cleaning tasks. However, the boat we sleep in is freezing, I slept in layers under three blankets and was shivering. The heater was broken so we told Annick and she just told us there's a wood heater we can make a fire with, but it's on the opposite side of the boat and the fire would go out overnight. She told us that “we won't die”, we bought heaters because it was unbearable

Where to even start, I loved my stay with Annick. She cares about her volunteers and makes sure we are well taken care of. If there is an issue you can be sure she will be there to help. The work load was easy and truthful to what she advertises, the animals are adorable and very loving. During my stay I was able to stay in the boat on land with showers and toilets just a few steps away. The food was great. We are given bikes to borrow as well so after you finish work for the day you are free to roam and explore wherever your heart desires. I honestly can't wait to go back!

This experience was amazing. Everything about it was perfect in my opinion. First, Annick was always helpful and cheerful to be around. She always asked for very fun tasks and she always had available tools to make tasks easier and more fun. Second, even though the post said a tent, we lived in a boat on land. Very nice and comfortable boat. Third, the food is amazing. It's frozen food, but very fresh, as she takes it from a fresh food factory nearby. It's already cooked so you don't have to do anything just microwave it. And finally, the place is great and the people in it is great.

I highly recommend this experience. Annick is a welcoming and supportive host. The animals are really nice, the tasks are easy, and she respects the work schedule. The meals are great, and we appreciated her suggestion to visit the local market. She even invited us to a neighborhood barbecue, which made us feel part of the community.

The campsite is great and the host Annick is super friendly and ensures that you recieve a warm welcome and that your stay becomes an experience you will not forgot The work is not difficult and varies from cleaning the sanitary building and feeding the animals, where the donkey will certainly provide you whit the necessary smiles, for the rest it is maintaining the greenery and the vegetable garden. So if you have the change, go for this super fun experience. In any case, i would certainly like to come back again.

Working at the camp positively impacted the campers, who came from diverse backgrounds and enjoyed meaningful interactions with beautiful animals, including feeding and caring for them. The animals' affectionate responses made the work even more rewarding. What you get from this experience depends on what you put into it. I highly recommend setting your priorities and committing fully to this volunteer opportunity. Additionally, you have free time each day to explore the rural town, and you might even find yourself taking an impromptu bike trip to Germany, as I did.

The experience was amazing! It's a really nice and beautiful place, really good for relaxing and enjoy nature. If you're an adventurous spirit who likes to sleep in a tent and enjoy some quiet time, then this is totally for you! The host is such a nice lady, she's so polite and flexible and comprehensive! All the animals are very friendly and I'm especially in love with the Donkey, he's just so sweet. The camp is an awesome place to meet locals as it has very little foreigner people. Supermarkets and town are around 20 minutes cycling from the camp and the work is very easy and straightforward
