The experience

Join us in Phnom Penh for a unique volunteer opportunity at our bakery! Help bake for our customers and local charities, assist with light cleaning, and learn new skills. Enjoy accommodation, meals, and the vibrant culture of Cambodia. Adrian (UK) and Aya (Cambodia) will welcome you into their team. Must stay at least 2 weeks. Experience not required, just a love for baking and community spirit!


What you offer

6 hours of help per day

Cooking: Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Program Details

We strive to be a social enterprise in as such that we donate all extra items to a local orphanage school. We also bake for them around about 300 cakes once a month. we compost all our scraps we aim to be low impact. we have taught many many volunteers to bake, and also some volunteers with exceptional skills have also taught us to improve our baking.
Aya is a Cambodian chef and she will be happy to teach you the basics of Cambodian cuisine and even some classes in Khmer language.


Activities & Shift

we start work around 10 AM have breakfast and then as a group we clean up the whole operation and get ready for the day. Daytime we bake bulk orders and we prepare lunch.
Some days around 11 o'clock we will need help to prepare and clean some of our five Airbnb studios that we host nearby volunteers who assist with these rooms will be able to use the rooftop swimming pool at that location. The latest shift will include preparation of some outgoing orders for local customers. Sometimes we brew kombucha, we make sauerkraut and pickles from scratch, we make all our sources dressings, hummus pesto, etc. all of these skills can be taught to the volunteers
