The owner Albano and manager Kieran make it a fun atmosphere and you can tell they truly care about you and your time with them. Get ready to help with reception, laundry, cleaning, some events, and to party!

Grateful for this experience. Albano has a huge heart and makes you feel part of the team. The team is extraordinary like Asja, Adori and Tonchito who have a place in my heart. This experience helped me to practice skills that I wanted to further enhance, such as photography and video filming. Albano trusted me to do "my magic" I completely changed the photos on the booking platforms and I changed the social media channels to a more professional view, increasing followers. Communication with Albano is very good, he is a great leader that encourages you to give your best. Come aboard the hostel

I have no words to express how thankful I am for our time here, you will want to give your all because of being surrounded for this much love. You will leave this place full of great memories in your heart and lots of raki in your system 😂 you will get to know a lot of eople from everyone and easily bond with them. Albano, lizzie, eltion, asja, all of them will make it easy for you to feel like home. I could not compare the hostel with any other place in the world.

The hostel is my new family. Albano and Lizzie are the best people we've ever known and will make anyone feel welcome! The experience at the hostel was just perfect! We arrived during low season, so at the beginning we helped with to organize and clean different spaces inside the hostel. This changed along with the weeks since the opening of the summer season started. The place has everything you need to have a great experience while working there and this includes a friendly environment that is boosted by the team. In our case we feel forever grateful to have been on board this ship, since we were treated like part of the family and we feel we made lifetime friends. We cannot wait to come back!

This was our second experience doing voluntary work and it was a marvelous experience, because we helped in different tasks, like painting, tyding some rooms and shared spaces. At the same time, we had enough free time to explore Shkodër, their magical places, shared with local people and learning about their culture. Definitely, we are grateful for staying in the hostel, and also for being treated as family members of Albano and Lizzie's family We'll come back soon ❤️

Albano is an amazing host and the hostel a really fun place to volunteer. It was very easy to adapt to the place and know people from all over the world. However, communication can be improved since many volunteers got zero/one day off even tho the agreements were different. I was expecting to have at least one meal like all the other volunteering I did before but the owner used to buy groceries once a week therefore everybody was buying their stuff. Overall it was a great experience and gave me the chance to discover Albania and travel bit!

The hostel is an awesome new hostel. Zach is a great guy to work for and his energy is always high! Although it was winter and I think the best time to be there would be peak summer, I still really enjoyed my time and would definitely go back! Shkoder is a beautiful little city with so much to offer. :)

I would describe my time at the hostel was absolutely amazing and even still that's an understatement, zack and albano are really great, the work is easy and fair, you never feel overworked and you always have help when you need it, the hours are fair and well distributed so you don't fall into the same thing and get bored and the room and everything is great, the vibe that the place brings are truly unmatched. I will definitely be returning here to help these guys out, made true friends for life and I am forever grateful for everything they have done, and the cat mouse is an angel
