Volunteering at the shelter has been truly special, the animals all live so well together, taking care of and spending time with them has been so warming. The day to day tasks are very simple and enjoyable. The accomodation is very lovely, the volunteers share guesthouse which has a kitchen, bathroom! And balcony! One of my favourite things has been sleeping and cuddling the cats, and having either Beba 🫏 or Mitsik 🐷 randomly open then door when it is close to dinner time. Thanks for having me Źeljka! I have loved my time here, and of course thank you to Jolana & Micheal 🫶

Zjelka is an awesome person. Her vision with the shelter is greate. The place needs a help from a volunteers, but with Michaels help, she will be able to make this place awesome. And that close to her animals, which are absolutely amazing is always a good experience.

We had a great stay with Zeljka! She is a very nice person with a good heart. Unfortunately she was sick during our stay so we didn't get to spend a lot of time with her. The work is mainly chopping wood (in winter), cleaning the yard (collecting poop and leaves) and stalls as well as feeding the animals once a day. You have a nice little cabin for yourself with your own kitchen where you cook most of your meals yourself (from time to time Zeljka cooks dinner). We also posted on Instagram a lot. It was so much fun with the animals and all of them are super friendly and love to be cuddled! :)

Zeljka is a great host and definitely needs help all around the year ! We had access to an independent studio (be careful to AC/vent during summer) and we had some basic tasks to do : taking care of animals mostly, feeding them, brushing, collecting the poop etc Depending on your skills, you'll be ask some additional tasks, for us it was to collect and assembled straw in the field so animals can eat during winter She also needs help with her Instagram !! Animals are adorable and everyone has a story, RenovaArka is truly a paradise and we could only recommend to spend some time there !
