The experience

Hello everyone, I hope you are well and happy. We are creating a Butterfly Farm and need help with all types of tasks, from planting host plants to attract more butterflies, to making showers and toilets for visitors and creating a communal space in the barn for all kinds of activities, like theater music ecstatic dance yoga kids' activities and much more. We are already super lucky to have hundreds of butterflies here but we want more, and more

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner French

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

help is mostly in the mornings it is nearly always varied

Activities & Shift

get out of bed, have breakfast, do some work, make food together, most afternoons are free but at night sometimes there is work too, making food and eating doesn't count as working time hehehe sorry
