The beds are comfy and hot showers. The manager communicates well and discusses what your preferences are for the shifts (breakfast or bar). They are understanding and the work is not too hard. I was here during the off season so there wasn't a ton to do in the bar, but you can chat during the shifts and enjoy it.

One of the best parts of my Peru trip was volunteering at this hostel. The location is perfect—close to everything but still quiet enough to rest. The place is super clean, beds are comfy, and the food is next level. The job was mostly basic bar tasks like taking orders, making drinks, keeping the area clean, and handling stock. Hours were fair and the schedule was always clear. Huge thanks to Camilo, the bar manager, for being patient and teaching me so much. I leave with great memories, new skills, and a lot of gratitude.

This was such a heart warming experience I felt at home, the atmosphere is so beautiful as well as the people. They are extremely helpful and nice I already miss being there, the memories I gained will be forever in my soul. I recommend giving it a try you won't regret it. People are so friendly and awesome. They are humble and heart warming I already want to go back and give everyone a hug. Thank you so much.

The hostel has great structure, but I was disappointed with the organization. I had confirmed beforehand that I could combine my days off, but when I did (with approval), I felt judged for it. I worked with dedication, while others didn't take it seriously — and for them, nothing happened. One day, I was suddenly scheduled for a morning shift (my shifts were always at night) with no warning, and I got blamed for not showing up. That felt unfair.

The hostel it's the place if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful hostel. The work on the bar it's calm, actually sometimes too calm... it's not a party hostel, people usually go to the bar to eat and have some beers, and you help on cleaning and washing the dishes. I had to work somedays on breakfast because they didn't have volunteers available for that, but that was ok for me. I recommend the hostel.

Bonne expérience au Magicpacker, je recommande! Endroit confortable (lits avec rideau, douches propres et eau chaude, bon petit dej …) ; les shifts (au bar pour ma part) étaient amusants et pas trop fatiguants ; l'hostel est bien situé ; 2 jours offs pour pouvoir faire des acti ou rando … Poll s'assure de vous mettre à l'aise et d'expliquer les tâches C'est à mi chemin entre l'hostel sociable / en mouvement et l'hostel calme avec peu de travail Le seul moins que je pourrais noter c'est un manque général d'organisation qui a parfois provoqué des petites confusions mais rien de très grave

Desde que llegué me sentí muy cómodo y bien recibido El lugar tiene una energía especial es acogedor y con todo lo necesario para descansar y disfrutar Pool el anfitrión fue muy atento y siempre estuvo pendiente de que no me faltara nada, transmitiendo confianza y buena vibra en todo momento Sin duda recomiendo este hostel a cualquiera que quiera sentirse como en casa
