O.M.G. I have dreamed about doing something like this for 30+ years. The experience I had was ABOVE ... So great, that I stayed a few days longer than expected!!! Immersing myself into the culture, farm, village, etc... I became a well liked local within a day, everybody on the farm was amazing, life on the farm was dreamy (Uhhhh HELLOOOOOO Pizza Night AND Water Night!! 🤤😆 ), plus learned a ton and plan on educating more folks from home. Stayed longer and cried when I left. Memories for a lifetime and I expect to do it again next summer, somewhere!!! 🥹 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! 🤘🚜🥲

Giuseppe was very receptive, showed me the entire project and explained about permaculture. Always flexible and chill with work, volunteers can choose to work 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon. We cooked lunch and went for a walk in the village where I had the best ice cream of my life! If you want to learn more about permaculture and are willing to work in the field, this place is for you! I was a little ill the days I was there, and he was understanding and we adapted the work to help with Social Media. with Social Media. It was great to see the project up close, thank you

I really enjoyed my time at the project!! The volunteers were incredibly supportive and welcoming and the tasks that we were given to do during the day were very interesting and helped develop my understanding of permaculture and sustainable farming :) pizza night was incredible, including the dinners out with the other volunteers!

An advice for other volunteers it's that is important to have a little knowledge from the permaculture before you come, because it's a way to live and could be hard if you disagree with this kind of life. It was a good experience learning the differents way to be more kind and friendly with the environmental and all the team were open to answer and explain every doubt that I have, I learn a lot.

I had a short stay at the project. So thats why I didnt get too deep into the procedures of the project. Conditions are especially in summer really hot, so thats why working in early mornings and the late afternoon is the way to handle it better. Teammates were great at my time. The host Giuseppe was kind of busy in my stay. So we didnt get too much in contact. I would recommend the project for the sustainability, which one really can see already in a short period. But dont miss the opportunity to chill with your teammates and to get a pizza in the cozy town of Palombaio ;)

I had an overall good experience at the project. During my time there Giuseppe was away, he arrived just before I left, but working with the people that he had responsible for the farm during his time away was amazing! They were very kind and helpful, and taught me a lot about permaculture. I also really enjoyed seeing the local life in the village right next to the farm. There was a conflict situation between other volunteers during my last day that made me feel uncomfortable, but it was handled by the people concerned. Apart from that, I had a great time at the project!
