The experience

Volunteer at Kids Saving the Rainforest! Help care for animals like sloths, monkeys, and macaws. Daily tasks include feeding, cleaning, and enrichment. Stay for a few days to a few months. Live on-site with diverse volunteers. Make a real difference in animal welfare!


What you offer

32 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 70 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Activities & Shift

At Kids Saving the Rainforest, volunteers start their day with a hearty breakfast before their shift begins. Daily duties, like feeding and cleaning enclosures, commence in the morning, ensuring the animals' well-being. Lunch is served promptly at 12, providing a midday break. Afternoon tasks continue until 3, with volunteers engaging in enrichment activities and other tasks to enhance animal welfare. Living on-site fosters a sense of community among volunteers from various backgrounds, making the experience both fulfilling and enriching.
