Pretty dope place. I ended up at LOFT which is the older one but I believe in “I'm exactly where I should be at the time I should be” so It was okay…just keep in mind you could be at either. Also, don't take offense to Claas he's hard on the outside pretty snarky remarks but on the inside he cares lol Volunteers while I was there were amazing everyone pretty much helped each other and respected each others space. This was a great experience

"Hard on the outside" is a quality U have to develop somehow when you work with approx 150 volunteers a year. Does not mean to be hard on all of them but the less I am the more (at least that counts for some volunteers) forget our agreement. Some volunteers take advantage if they think being nice means not to care. But I care a lot for the hostel and the guests we host as well as for the volunteers.

In general volunteers are ending up at the hostel they applied for...so I really thank U for the flexibility. It really helped...it's a problem if volunteers are not showing up and even more if they don't notify us. In cases like that, and they are rare because most of the volunteers we had over the years take it serious, it can be that we need to ask if it is ok to be hosted at the other hostel...

Mi experiencia en el hostel en terminos generales fue bastante buena. Se manejaban 3 shift donde estabas colaborando en el hostal 4 días a la semana y con 3 días de descanso lo que me permitió viajar con bastante libertad y conocer el país. En cuanto a las comidas que se ofrecian, el desayuno contaba con dos huevos por día, leche, cafe o te y la cena dependía de quien cocinara en las noches. En algunas ocasiones no fue sumistrada. Melissa y Joaquín, son los administradores del lugar fueron bastante amigables y flexibles lo cual hacia el ambiente bastante cómodo para trabajar.

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue buena! me permitió conocer personas de todo el mundo, recorrer el hostel en mis días libres y generar amistades con mis compañeros voluntarios, lo negativo es que el lugar que ofrecen para dormir es pequeño, para 6 personas con solo algunos ventiladores que no son suficientes para el calor que hace en la ciudad, y sobre la comidas solo dan 1,8€ por día por persona para almuerzo. Destacó la amabilidad y buena energía de Elias el manager que hace de la experiencia algo más amistoso y familiar ☺️
