The experience

When my best friend and me were in Pichilemu for the first time in 2019 fell in love with the place and made a plan to buy a property and build a house one day.

At the beginning of the year 2024, the time had finally come for us to fulfil our dream: we bought a small property with a small existing house on it.

Now we have extended the existing house and transformed it into a surfhostel and therefore need active support!!

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Surfboards: You can use our surfboards as much as you want.

Surf lessons: Take free surf classes at the local beaches.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner Spanish

Between 18 and 36 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

We need all kinds of help: mostly cleaning, do check-ins or check-outs, maintenance of the patio and garden, doing groceries and also some construction help.
Most of the work is very simple, so you don't need any experience.
If you like cooking, you are also very welcome!!

Activities & Shift

There is a timetable of a shift in the morning and one in the afternoon: work would be 3-4 hours daily (depends how fast you finish the tasks) 5 days a week.
If you feel like having more freetime besides your 2 days off. You can pay us a small fee for everyday you dont want to work and and enjoy the perfect waves, which there are almost everyday of the year.

Rules

We are both passionate about surfing: we can teach you how to surf and show you around the city.

We also have 10 Surfboards so you can use one while you are here!
