One of the greatest experiences of my entire life! I'm forever changed by the ten days I spent at the project. I felt instantly welcomed into the crazy and warm environment that is Mike's home, filled with sweet and interesting people who just want to be happy together. Can't really describe the experience, but I'll go again and I'm sure it'll be completely different and I cant wait!! Thank you mike and everyone i spent my time there with (sofia, chico, nina, lara, tomas, nathan, mich - miss you all :)))))

It was my first time volunteering abroad and I was welcomed with open arms. If you like an off-grid experience in an enchanting forrest with some wild hippies this is the place for you. There is no running water and you have to walk quite far to catch a bus or a cap, also please know: during the summer moths there are temperatures up to 40 degrees daily. It wasn't all roses but I am glad for the experience and would have loved to stay longer.

What a rich and amazing experience! Staying in the project mind comunity positively changed my opinion about living off the grid . Mike is a very warm and beutiful Host who has created an unique space for joy, freedom, and unconditional love. The energy of the place is so beutiful that I felt love and harmony with all the people and things around me. I felt at home from the first day. I swam in a beautiful lake, painted, and danced... I enjoyed the silence of nature and going to parties and events at the same time. I hope to visit the project mind community again soon.

My time at the project was a truly memorable experience, it was something completely different from my daily life and from my previous 3 WP experiences. It was a welcoming community that is quite a bit of work to get to up that hill but worth it for the calm days and alternative way of living. There are no shifts or expected work pre say, just the expectation that the dishes are done each day and meals are prepared for all to eat. The rest of the time is spent chatting and getting to know each other with trips to the lake as I was there in the height of summer.

I came to the project and loved it so much, I've taken up residency. Mike creates a healing and nourishing environment, effortlessly. I am free here and my boundaries are honored at the same time. We all face survival together. It has been and continues to be an experience that facilitates deep healing and rapid growth for me. Come and fall in love with the land, the people, and all of our differences.

This was my first experience with Worldpackers and I couldn't have chosen better. The place overcome my expectations. Being part of the project is like being a part of big family where everyone loves you unconditionally. This place made me feel like a kid again because I could do whatever I wanted all the time. I saw the most beautiful night sky in my life, I was completely immersed in nature, I met so many different and inspiring people. the project made me rethink my current life and goals. Thank you for creating such a beautiful and unique place Mike <3

Coming to the project was an experience that changed my life. It was like walking into a family that loves you unconditionally. Mike was so welcoming and gentle, spending time with him and the other volunteers was amazing :) This experience taught me a lot about life and about love. Nobody forces you to do any labour, but this place motivated me to bring out the best in me. Anyone who only spends a day here and has something negative to say about the place, i invite you to change and free your mind a bit more. There is no room for being small minded here! I will definetely be back. Thank you <3

Mike's an accommodating & entertaining host who lives with his pets atop a hill with stunning views. There are converted vans to sleep in or 2 double beds & sofas in the communal cabin (an amazing space to share laughter, stories, and good meals in). You're really encouraged to get creative & leave your mark during your stay which makes the place feel like home. With 2 wells, solar panels & a compost toilet, the project is also a good gateway into off-grid living. I highly encourage you to apply, just as I was encouraged to grow, by connecting with everyone. Msg if you want more info :)
