My experience here was unbelievable, since we were in the airport because they drive to us and show us everything about the house where live teachers, about the local food and everything was organize and clear. They were more than incredible I love all experience here.

I only have words of gratitude with the team at Athenas the host I really liked the experience. They are very friendly and kind. They made me feel at home from the first moment. They celebrated my birthday and bought me a cake ❤️ Phong taught me how to ride a motorcycle. His wife Thanh is very friendly and cooks very tasty The house is very nice and comfortable. I had a private room. The first days I observed classes from other English teachers. Phong assisted me in some classes and then I taught on my own. You always have someone to answer your questions I highly recommend it!

I had a good stay in the host, all people was amazing and you feel like with your family. I recommend to volunteer with them, you definitely are going to learn techniques to teach kids and also you are going to be involve in the culture. Thanks for all Jose and Fang. You were amazing.

This has been one of the best experiences ever, I've made lifelong friends within the team and the leaders José and Phong are absolutely incredible, sometimes we'd all go out to eat together. While the schedule could occasionally get a bit chaotic, all it ever took was a conversation with them to work out a solution. They genuinely listen to your needs and made me feel at home from the very first moment. Classes were amazing and the kids absolutely adorable. I would come back in a heartbeat, this experience has been amazing from beginning to end and I'll cherish every moment of it :,)

I had a great experience at the host. You were slowly and well introduced to teaching your own lessons and were also supported wherever you had problems. I also had a private room with air conditioning, very nice colleagues and Jose often invited me to play football with locals. In addition, we often met together and did things together in the evenings, so I never felt bored. I'd love to come back :)

My original plan was to stay at the host for one month, but the experience exceeded all my expectations. I extended for another month to keep enjoying the incredible sense of community and the rewarding work. The team of teachers and volunteers is outstanding, creating a warm and inspiring atmosphere. Teaching here is deeply enriching, filled with moments of growth and joy. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience — come open-minded and ready to give your best, because you might just want to stay longer!

The host has been an incredible experience from the start. The warm welcome included an interview, airport pickup, and a friendly environment where teachers and volunteers quickly became close friends. We go out together, share dinners, and explore the area together. As a teacher, I felt very supported: you observe classes before teaching, and there's always a Vietnamese assistant to help. This enriching experience led me to extend my stay. If you love kids and teaching English, this is the ideal volunteer program to fully immerse yourself in the local culture.

The host have been awesome! Phong and Joeze are very friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home and also inviting you along to local events so you can experience the local way of life. The facilities and the provided meals are of good quality making your stay comfortable. They also provide all the required training and assistance to help you do well at the job. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to volunteer for a short time or for people looking to get a start in teaching English. Thanks guys!

This was my first volunteering experience as an English teacher and I was so happy I did it. First, the work itself was so much fun. You will be getting the help you need on day one - from observing, preparing of lesson plans, etc. The kids were so much fun to be around specially the kindergartens. Motorbike will be provided. I am very thankful to Phuong and his cousin for moving me around as I do not know know how to bike. Secondly, you will be getting air-conditioned private room, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. The teachers and co-volunteers were all helpful. Everyone should try this!
