What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 16 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Description: To join this experience, there's a required contribution of $25 (Australian dollars) per day per person, with a minimum stay of 10 days. This journey isn’t about money; it’s about connecting with yourself, others, and nature while embracing an unconventional way of life. Your contribution sustains our community and supports our mission. We deeply value your generosity and open-heartedness, which make this experience truly exceptional.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Free Parties: Get free entrance for the best parties in town.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Holistic Therapies: You can take part in any of our therapeutic activities for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Rules

Work hours aboard the Barge may vary due to weather conditions and ongoing projects. Typically, work starts at 10:00 am and ends at 4:00 pm, with a one-hour lunch break. The actual daily work duration is usually around 5 hours, but it can change depending on tasks. Flexibility is key, allowing you to choose whether to continue working or take personal time beyond designated hours, ensuring a productive and enjoyable stay. Outside of working hours, domestic duties are shared among the crew.
