I absolutely recommend volunteering at Charlie's hostel to anyone! The hostel is lovely, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The host is also very kind and friendly, and care about how you're feeling. There's hardly any work — just 1.5 to 2 hours a day — so you have plenty of time to explore. The location is also a big plus, right in the city center, with everything important close by. The hostel is small and cozy, there's no chaos, and it feels very homely — which was exactly what I liked most:) Thank you for this experience:)

Charlie is a great host. He is very supportive and kind. The hostel is quite small and had only a few guests during my stay, so there was only light work for me. Overall, I had a great time there and would definitely recommend it. : )

My experience at Charlie's hostel was amazing! It was my first worldpackers trip and I could not imagine it to be better:)) Charlie was very kind always asking how was my day, giving me many tips about what to visit in Oslo and making sure if I am felling comfortable. The hostel was very cozy and I had a chance to meet a lot of travelers from all around the world! Work wasn't demanding. I worked for 1-2 hours a day and than I had my free time to walk around the city. Hostel is placed very close to the city center so there is always something to do after work :))))

I had an amazing time at the hostel. Charlie is a very nice person and always ready to help. I liked the work at the hostel and to meet people from everywhere in the world. It's a very cozy place and the workload is not too much, so there is plenty of time to explore Oslo. Thank you so much Charlie for your hospitality!

My time in Oslo was great, Charlie is really nice, the work is easy and can be done really quickly but note that the "hostel" is mostly just a flat with room rented via airbnb so the vibe is not really the same as an hostel. Ps:Munch museum is free every wednesday after 6pm think about it before paying for you ticket :)

I stay 10 days at the hostel and i had a good stay there ! The work is very easy (around 1 to 2 hours a day), the appartement is very central so it's really practical to visit the city by walk :) Just for you to know that you will have a lot of time alone and also you can be alone with one guest at a time with no locker on the door :)

I didn't work in Charlie's hostel as advertised but in a private apartment with another man where three rooms are rented out as Airbnb. Minimal work, enough time to explore the city. I had to leave my volunteering early because the owner of the apartment couldn't control his alcohol consumption, acted crazy and got my things dirty and destroyed. That traumatized me and I left as soon as I could. Charlie, on the other hand, is very nice and friendly.

This was my first volunteering with Worldpackers and honestly I couldn't have made a better choice. Charlie is super nice, kind, and respectful, as well as all the people I've encountered there, and the hostel itself was really nice to stay in, close to the city center and comfortable. I had the chance to make wonderful friends and meet a lot of people from all over the world, and the cleaning I had to do was really easy too. Honestly I loved this experience and hope to be able to go back soon, I would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Oslo. ❤️
