The experience

Single dad with two kids aged 7 and 9, living in a nice house with large garden and two holiday lets, altogether on over an acre of land, with views across countryside and the Atlantic Ocean. Several outbuildings to be renovated to create extra accommodation and space. Love travel and getting to know other cultures.
Main tasks: childcare, gardening, general maintenance, cooking.
4 hours/ day, 5 days/ week. Eg. 9am to 1pm Monday to Friday.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner English

Between 18 and 45 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

We expect 4 hours of work per day, 5 days a week. Some practical experience of gardening, housework, childcare, maintenance would be helpful, but also we can show how to do some jobs, eg. Using lawnmower/ hedge cutter/ strimmer.

4 hours, 5 days a week, eg. 9am-1pm Monday to Friday.
