The experience

Hey hey you traveler that want to come and be part of the Books Family, we have good news for you, you might be allowed. If you think your job is only to make drinks working behind a bar, you are wrong. Your job at Books consists in making drinks, but also make our beloved guests feel special and cared, and have good fun while here. If you think you can do all of those, apply for us and let's see what happens.

What you offer

24 hours of help per week

Bartending: Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.

What you get

3 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Requirements

Fluent English

Between 18 and 40 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Prepair the bar to open from 6 - 7 pm
Work at the bar 7 - 11pm
Clean and Organize 11 - 00h

Activities & Shift

You work 4 shifts a week, some alone some with other people (the busy days). The shifts starts at 6pm and finishes at 00h. The bar itself opens from 7 to 11 pm.

Rules

No rules, but attitude required. Aim to be amazing at what you do, be curious (So ask). We do not like to train people much, we are happy to point the direction and trust that people will know how to make the way there, and that if they do not, they will ask and be opened to learn.
