We're open to what you as a worldpacker can bring to the project, so this can be a time to learn new skills or practice your expertise. If you're great with community sensitization, handy with teaching tools, or a wiz in fundraising - great. We can use your help anywhere. With a healthy mix of work and play, our days tend to feel like grown up summer camp, and we can promise that you will at least think about extending your stay.
By volunteering with us, you will have the opportunity to venture deep into the heart of the mountainous villages, banana, coffee plantations.
As we are fully immersed between national parks, you can expect to learn a lot about nature, the animals around us, and the way parks, tourism and communities work together.
We can exchange skills, knowledge and experiences. Even recipes! Because me and my wife love to cook, but my wife is better.

Activities & Shift
What is a typical day?
A typical day doesn't exist, and that's the way we prefer it. We usually plan one bigger project so that volunteers can leave a lasting impact, and then pepper in different responsibilities as they come. Currently volunteers would participate in activities such as teaching in our partner schools, distributing scholastic materials to schools, giving carrier guidance to students, children workshops, monitoring the progress of the girls with the Tailor, offering counselling to girls that have dropped out of school, potting and planting trees, gardening, and assisting with fundraising efforts. So, the work is flexible, depending on situations, weather, and other elements.

And shoes, flipflops, sandals or something like all of that can be left outside of the house. This eases our household chores.
If you are travelling with partner, please do not obviously show us your relationship's problems or sudden request to leave our home is inevitable on my side.
My home is 20 minutes walk from the bus station, 15 minutes walk from the bank, hospital, supermarkets, playground, restaurants, police, and central market.
If you are interested and willing to stay with us, please bear in mind that while you and your bags are still in our house, you are our responsibility. Your safety, health and well being are important to us.
