The experience

Volunteers will speak with students learning English, contributing to a immersive English-speaking environment. This experience not only helps students improve their English, but also opens doors for their future. Our approach is learning through activity-based lessons, making the students learning both enjoyable and effective. We provide comfortable accommodation in a fully furnished apartment, conveniently located just across from the school.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English or Beginner Spanish

Between 18 and 70 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

We are a english academy located in the north of Quito near the middle of the world monument. This academy is managed with my family in which we want to help our society in Quito to learn English in a practical way. We seek to have the help of volunteers so our students can learn and practice english in a dynamic and realistic way. Our students are excited to meet volunteers and share a cultural exchange.

Activities & Shift

We need you to talk with our students about any topic! We believe that the practice during learning english is very important!
We will make a lot of different activities with the students so they can learn in a easier way! Such as cooking class, karaoke, table games, excursions, etc.
We will like you to help us 5 hours a day
