Farm Helper at Bhaktivedanta Manor (Hare Krishna Temple, UK headquarters, non-profit sanctuary)
Bhaktivedanta Manor is a place to experience the authentic tradition of Bhakti Yoga or the yoga of devotion. A Hare Krishna community located in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, England, it serves as both a shrine and a temple and is one of the most visited temples in Europe, attracting over 3,000 visitors weekly.
What you offer
30 hours of help per week
Painting & Decorating:
Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.
Cleaning:
Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Gardening:
Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
Farming:
Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.
What you get
2 days off per week
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Free Events:
Get free entrance for the best events in town.
Pick Up:
We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.
Yoga classes:
Take free yoga classes at our place.
Basic Internet Access:
Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Beginner English
Between 18 and 50 years old
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)
