Volunteering at the hostel was an experience of learning and fun. At the beginning, the season was quiet, but as the summer went on more guests arrived which meant more tasks, but it also felt like a more united team to face the challenges ahead. The owners and managers were also attentive to the requests of the volunteers. I believe that over time the processes and communication can be even better. Also, the friends you can make there and people from all over the worls helped me to learn and open my mind in a friendly environment.

Volunteering at this hostel in Germany was an amazing experience, The team was very welcoming, the tasks were clear and well balanced, and there was always time to explore the city and the surroundings. I met great people and learned a lot along the way The atmosphere was friendly and full of good energy, making every day special. It's a very peaceful place, but you can still enjoy it a lot. An enriching experience I recommend to anyone looking for adventures and new connections, thanks !!!

My partner and I volunteered at the hostel for a month and had a great time. Mikhail and Daniel, the owners, were kind and always just a call away. The permanent staff were lovely and made sure both volunteers and guests were supported. The work was simple—about 2 hours a day of basic cleaning, with plenty of free time to explore neighboring cities like Leipzig and Berlin. Guests were friendly, and the self-check-in system kept things running smoothly. The owners are open to feedback and love hearing ideas to improve the experience. Highly recommend the hostel!

Volunteers are well treated by the owners of the hostel. We get decent comfort place to sleep and money to buy food. I have done many volunteering in the past, the host here is the best. Dessau is a student town and quiet. It's comfortable to live there for a while. There's train go to Berlin, you can go on your two days off. I especially feel grateful that Mikhail invited me for dinner before I leave. Thanks 🙏 I am happy to meet many cool friends there like Quézia and Fahana.😄 I already starts to miss people there. Awwwww Feels like home😊

If you like calm and peace to work and study this is the place for you and it's perfect for practicing German because in Dessau almost nobody speaks English. The tasks are simple and there is much free time and a yoga room to relax and exercise. The hostel is not busy and it's clean and cozy, so I felt like home. The owners are very kind and talkative, they are always there to support you and I enjoyed a lot the barbecues they organize every now and then 😍 thank you for giving me this opportunity, it was a great experience ❤️

☺️My first volunteering experience with the hostel team was unforgettable. Edward and his fiancée Katy welcomed me warmly, and I quickly bonded with the rest of the team. Michael taught me the hotel system, fulfilling my interest in hospitality. The team was always available to help, and I had specific daily tasks with 2 days off each week, a card 50 euros to buy our food.My salsa classes on Fridays were popular with guests, and I enjoyed. Dessau is a quiet place, perfect for a peaceful stay. The nearby train station made it easy to travel. I'm grateful for the opportunity, Thank you! ❤️

I got to know many interesting people from different countries while I gave my hand helping with different tasks. I enjoyed welcoming the guests and making room for creativity. Also the transportation and services come pretty easily to move around. Sometimes you have to work independently and take your own initiative as there is a lack of constructed organization and effective scheduling. Beside that, the team is well educated and ready to help.

Increíblemente agradecida al hostel, a Farhana, Arthur y Domi por esta experiencia. Los horarios son flexibles y se super acomodan a las necesidades de los voluntarios, te da tiempo a conocer y viajar por los alrededores. Las tareas son de limpieza pero son super fáciles. Tienes la comida a tu disposición semanalmente y la habitación es super grande y cómoda también. Solo tengo palabras de agradecimiento para este voluntariado (es mi primera vez en Alemania). El hostel fue nuestro primer voluntariado. No pudo ser mejor, lo recomiendo un 100% El staff esta siempre preocupado de los voluntarios, las instalaciones son muy lindas y bien equipadas, todas las semanas se compra mercadería según el gusto y necesidad de los voluntarios. Las tareas son sencillas, es muy similar a limpiar tu propia casa. Estuvimos un mes muy bueno en el Hostal, aprovechamos su ubicación para conocer ciudades a su alrededor, aunque también recomiendo conocer Dessau es una ciudad muy acogedora. Muchas gracias a todos!
