Amazing first volunteering experience! Deva welcomed me like family and made me want to keep volunteering. I worked 5 days with Wyn, the farmer โ€“ weeding vanilla, picking the farm, walking in the bamboo forest, feeding the cows Lola & Aurora, and starting a parking project. Wyn taught me a bit of Indonesian and I met his generous family. Special thanks to Pak Made for driving me daily, and to Deva for her inspiring conversations and hospitality. I felt so good I stayed a few extra days! Thanks Deva for everything <3

My girlfriend Bea and I spent a week volunteering with Deva and her team, we had a wonderful time! I really enjoyed feeding the cows and helping cut the grass on farm 2. It was nice going to local balinese markets, meeting new people, exploring town, farming and working on my moped skills ๐Ÿ˜Š Thank you Deva for giving us our own personal space in your home as-well as being so generous and understanding. We had an amazing time volunteering and staying with Deva! She is such a bubbly, generous and active person. Together we worked with a fellow volunteer Sumi (also lovely and friendly) cutting grass, feed cows & pick cherries. It's definitely hard work!! But it's always a laugh and makes you appreciate the experience more. Deva isn't kidding the ride to the farm is difficult but surrounded by absolutely stunning rice fields, devo ensure you can ride a bike before. We found it rewarding and memorable, allowing us to meet new people, connect with nature and explore ubud. Thank you so much! ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ˜š๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿฎ

I really enjoyed my stay at the farm. Deva welcomed me with open armsโ€”she's warm-hearted and caring. The house, which has a lovely pool, is closer to Ubud and makes it easy to explore the area. The farm is far out, so it's definitely helpful if you know how to drive a scooter. Since I don't, Deva kindly arranged transport for me, which made things much easier. Working on the the farm was a beautiful experience. I enjoyed spending time with Wayan and Pad Maday. do wish there had been more volunteers to connect and learn from, but I'm grateful for the experience! Thank you!

Deva is a communicative and friendly person, his staffs are incredible people and take very good care of Deva's spaces. I was able to participate in the process of harvesting and pulping the farm. the farm is the best of all, I really loved and became addicted to this the farm!

My boyfriend and I recently had the pleasure of volunteering with Deva, and I can confidently say it was one of the most rewarding experiences. Deva was an awesome host, we felt very welcomed to her home and learned so much about the local life there. When it came to volunteering at the farm, we had the opportunity to pick the farm cherries, help build her the farm house in Ubud, and learn how to maximize the farm yields naturally. My time in Bali wouldn't have been quite as immersive if it weren't for this experience here at the farm.

Hi, we enjoyed our time here with Deva at Pemberri the farm! She's an incredibly interesting individual and if there's any reason to choose this opportunity over others it's meeting her and hearing all of her stories! She also happens to be a very accommodative host, which we appreciated. We chose to volunteer for over a week after we explored around a bit across the island, and something I noticed in retrospect is that some of the most memorable experiences were actually while I was volunteering here rather than when I was sightseeing!

From the very first day I felt so well welcomed. I spent 2 weeks, that went too fast! The experience at the the farm was great. I learned so much and am so grateful for these quality moments with the farmers and Deva. She opened the doors to her home, so I truly felt like a family member. The area is very nice and quiet, so if you are looking for a local experience far from touristic places, that's the one! Would recommend it a thousand times. For sure an experience and people I will never forget! Thanks for this opportunity! Made me grow.

Deva is an absolute joy to work with. She provides clear daily tasks and objectives, making the work efficient and enjoyable. Working on the farm is challenging at times but incredibly fulfilling. I had the opportunity to work closely with the locals, like Fary and Pak-Madeh, who are so friendly and experienced. If you give them your heart, they will give you theirs. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone seeking an adventure off the beaten path.
