The experience

We require volunteers to work with us on following initiatives in a remote himalayan Village - Shri Timli, Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand.
1. Organic Open Farming (30 Acres)
2. Green House/Poly House Farming
3. Orchard Planning/Maintainance
4. Dairy Farm Management (Badri Cow Gaushala)

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 3 Per day

Description: Volunteer contribution to sustain our initiative in remote himalayan village.

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Intermediate English or Intermediate Hindi

Over 18 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Volunteer to work in mountain farms with or without local farmers. Farm work includes - Agriculture: field work, field preparation, sowing, drip system operations and management, taking care of crop in the field etc.
Dairy Farm: Maintainence of Badri Cow Dairy Farm
Orchard Management: Management of Kiwi and other orchard at Shri Timli
