The home welcomed me into his charming home graciously. I am grateful he was willing and able to accommodate my gluten allergy. I worked in the mornings on tasks such as: weed whacking, tree trimming, painting, or moving stones. The work was simple. The only thing I found amiss about the experience was the smell coming from the septic tank but the home told me he was working on getting it fixed and gave me some essential oils for the smell. I enjoyed the time I spent with the home, he is very kind, I will miss his cooking. Travel to Nice and Monaco on the weekends was easy with the bus and tram.

Lucian welcomed me into his home with great cuisine and a flexible schedule. I woke up when was comfortable, not to late and we had breakfast together usually. worked alone in the morning, together in the afternoon. But not always. He was respectful about what work was to be done and boundaries. Realistic with goals and found jobs that I could do. I loved the view from his place and he provided suitable accommodation. We usually had good chats after work and had great lunch to keep me full. If you're ok with hard work, direct instruction and good food I can definitely recommend him.

At the end of my experience with the home I ended up wanting me to stay longer. We worked together to build different elements around his house and that truly helped me figure out how straightforward it can be as well as how fast work can be done if working towards a common goal. the home's food is out of this world and he always try to make delicious, healthy and varied food. I got to enjoy out chats together and he helped me a lot with French language. During my days off I got to visit nice and Monaco a few times as it is a short trip from the home's home. I really loved this experience!

I had the best experience working and living with the home ! Going to bed and waking up to the sound of the river , meeting the best people , Luciens cooking , and living in the mountains surrounded by so much greenery are only a few things that made this experience so good.the home is one of the kindest people I have ever met , and I felt so at home.He always made sure that I enjoyed the work that I was doing and was very flexible with work times.I would recommend this to anyone , and I can't wait to visit again :) Thank you so much the home .

I'm very happy and grateful to have had this experience of 2 months in Lucian's house. Every day I learning something new, I definitely recommend this place, away from the noise and chaos of the city, it's a very quiet and the landscape s amazing and the people I met are wonderful. Lucian is a very kind person and I always felt comfortable.

The home provided me with a warm place to sleep in his tiny yet somewhat messy home. His cooking was fantastic and we got along well as we talked during meals. However, due to a few communication issues, the working atmosphere was sometimes tense. He cares more about you learning his process than the quality of the final product. I had a lot of trouble plastering his inclined ceiling. Often the plaster was mixed too thin, which made it more difficult to use. However my situation is very specific. The tasks will differ for each volunteer as you help the home refresh his home.

My experience with the home was good! He loves in a cute home with stunning surroundings. The food he made was outstanding, and he's very generous. I'd say just to make sure you do things the way he wants them done, and make sure you're on the same page, for example, you might do dishes one way, and he might do them another, so just ask:) It was lovely staying with you the home. My experience with the home was very good! He lives in a house in the middle of the mountain. It is an ideal place if you want to get out of the chaos of the city and spend time doing work surrounded by nature and tranquility. He is very hospitable and he makes you feel at home. He also cooks typical French food for you (since he was a Chef for more than 40 years). You can also learn French with him if you want to. He is flexible with schedules. You just have to be willing to collaborate in whatever is necessary. A 100% recommended experience.

Este lugar es realmente maravilloso, aquí me enamoré de Francia y su cultura. Las montañas, el rio, la calma y la paz que sentí es tan grande y que ayuda a olvidar ese mundo agitado y ruidoso de las ciudades, tanto así que es mi segundo voluntariado en el mismo lugar y lo podría repetir muchas veces más. the home es una persona maravillosa muy amable y gentil, y me ayudó a practicar y hablar el francés.
