The host is great place to volunteer! Good people here, the staff and the other volunteers really made me feel welcome. My roommates Henrique and Oswaldo treated me like family 👍The work isn't too hard, but working 5 days a week felt like a full time job sometimes. I still I had a lot of free time to explore the area and the center is in a great location surrounded by many towns and with good public transport nearby 👍 I had a really good experience here and would definitely recommend volunteering here.

I was the host's quickest short term volunteer so far, only having time to stay for 2.5 weeks but what an awesome experience!! The staff are amazing, the instructors are loads of fun, and the other volunteers were lovely to work with. the host is huge, accommodation (shared house) is great, the work is very straightforward, and the expectations per shift are really clear. The local towns are perfect for exploring and the lake just outside the host is gorgeous to walk around. I would highly recommend this position and the host Team, I wish I could have stayed longer :)

I had a truly amazing time here! People are what make things great and the people I met at the host certainly did that. I've made lifelong friends and had great adventures. The only things that I'd change would be realizing before I arrived that this is essentially a full time job and that the three meals a day are given in the form of a grocery stipend. Overall, it was a great experience and I recommend it to anyone who wants to get away and reconnect with people, themself, or God.

I had such an amazing experience volunteering at the host! It is such a wonderful community and everyone is so welcoming and kind. The work was clearly laid out and well scheduled. I really enjoyed living in community with the other volunteers and doing social activities every night. There is a good mix of volunteers from different countries so it was super great to learn about the different cultures. One thing to be aware of is that it is not very easy to travel to other places from the camp, but if you are wanting to spend time on the English countryside then this is the place for you.

I could not imagine a better place for my first volunteering experience! the host weather really did me good ;) The team is welcoming, they would help us with anything. I made a lots of friends since volunteers come-and-go. We loved the food shopping system. The houses are clean and comfortable for living. If I could have more time, I would definitely stay longer. Looking forward to come back! I had time to try lots of the amazing activities, make friedns, work on myself and grow in faith.

I thoroughly enjoyed contributing to the host, which exceeded my expectations. Most activities were in the dining room and always in groups, making it easy to make friends. The administration team is organized and attentive to balancing our needs with the institution's. Fellow volunteers were very welcoming, and we quickly connected, enabling us to engage in additional activities together. This included biking, occasional kayaking trips to the lake, visits to nearby cities, and attending church on Sundays. I am very grateful for the entire experience.

It was certainly a blessing for me to have the opportunity of volunteering at the host. The fact that you get exposed to different cultures, languages and peaceful nature makes this opportunity unique and relaxing. Like other organizations, it's not perfect. I believe there are things that they could do better and I am sure they will eventually. After all, we do it to honor God and not to please the man. May God provide you the wisdom to make the best decision!

O anfitrião é uma ótima experiência para quem não quer gastar, mas mesmo assim conhecer uma nova cultura e conviver com pessoas de diversos países. Porém caso deseje ficar viajando penso não ser muito compensatório, pois é meio longe de tudo. As atividades são bem tranquilas, na época em que estava basicamente só trabalhava 4/5 dias por semana (5h), pois a temporada era baixa. Toda segunda temos reunião para saber das novidades

Infelizmente, você não pôde participar das excursões, pois há apenas uma por temporada, e a excursão de Natal seria uma data incompatível a sua estadia. No entanto, esperamos que você retorne na próxima temporada, durante o verão, quando teremos mais atividades e excursões.
