The experience

Hello! Namaskar from Pokhara.
I am Krishna Timilsina, Director of a non-profit organization dedicated to community development, founder of the homestay. We are dedicating to community development and hoping to inspire volunteers and those on cultural exchange programs to help in working towards this goal. We are offering a once in a lifetime experience in Nepal through a safe and friendly environment.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 10 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 18 and 70 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Program Details

We are doing coffee farming to sustain one of our project called Alliance nepal children home where 14 girls are staying and going to school . we have planted 200 coffee plants to check how it grows. now they gave good results . so, we are going to plant more 500 coffee plants in 2024 and 2025.

We have one Nepali worker and we need more hands to make this project .
Would be great to have group of people having amazing skill sets be part of the Startups as they wish to be , even for the long run .Really wishing to have a great time learning, creating and being adventurous.

You can stay in homestay and work during the day. you can take some day free to visit around sarangkot,
