Night shift dog sitting

I had a lovely few shifts at the host before I had an accident (not involving the dogs), Nana was amazing, so helpful during it all. Such a shame as I really enjoyed my time volunteering!!! My partner still went for her shifts and I was so jealous of the loving dogs and delicious lunch that was provided!! I would really recommend the experience, everyone is so lovely - just try not to be clumsy like I was :)

This is a great worldpackers experience!! The exchange is really good - getting an apartment in Tamsui area with lots to explore for 3 days of work a week. It is a bit intimidating on the first day with all the barking but stick with it because everyone is so lovely and the dogs are so sweet! The host Nana was so kind - my partner had an accident there (not involving the dogs) and Nana was so helpful and accommodating. The work itself is relaxed - cleaning the rooms as well as time playing with the dogs. The lunches when on shift are also sooo delicious :) !! overall recommend ⭐️

I just completed a three-week volunteer experience at the host, and it was a truly great time. While the work involved a fair amount of cleaning, it was absolutely worth it for the opportunities to cuddle and play with the cute dogs. It was clear that the well-being of the dogs is a top priority. The owners and staff were all very friendly and welcoming! The accomodation provided was more than sufficient and the location was great. Also the shedule for work was super flexible. Overall this was a very positive experience and I'd like to thank Natasha for giving me the opportunity!

I really like dogs and the volunteering at the host is perfect for all dog lovers. The work is hard, but very fair. You get a private one room apartment in the tamsui area. It's a bit far away from the city center, but tamsui also has a lot to explore. It can become very loud while volunteering because of the dogs' barking, but pack yourself noise cancelling headphones or earplugs and you're good to go. I really like the other sitters and felt welcomed by every one of them. It can become quite busy, so sometimes you have to double text.

My time at the host was fantastic! I really liked the work and Natasha the fulltime workers are also very nice and try to explain everything as best as they can. They have big and small dogs of All kinds, so don't underestimate all the barking, it can be tiring if your not used to it but at least for me it was totally manageble. The Lunch was also very tasty everytime!!

I enjoyed volunteering at the host. The staff was kind and always let me know if a dog needed extra care. I was mostly on the first floor with the small dogs, so I didn't get to help much with the big or special care dogs, though I did play with them sometimes. There's more cleaning than playtime, but it was still a nice experience if you love being around dogs.

Besides the cleaning tasks, which take most of the time, you will have an opportunity to pet very cute dogs. Another advantage of this place is a very beautiful beach area right next to it. However, before coming here, make sure that you feel confident around big dogs, as there will be many of them and you might need to clean their area alone too. Also, it will be very noisy all the time because of the dogs barking, so be prepared for it. Don't worry if you need to double text the host to ask for additional information, since there are so many dogs and the place can get very busy.

I had a great experience volunteering at the host-the host. The work schedule was quite flexible and allowed plenty of time to explore Taiwan on my days off. Days working were quite hard work with various cleaning tasks. What was most enjoyable was definitely playing with the dogs. On days that you work Natasha provides lunch which was always pretty tasty and nutritious. You get a 2 hour lunch break from 12-2. I would normally head down to the beach and hang out there for a bit as the host was located a 5-10 minute walk from the beach which was awesome.

Ive had an absolutely amazing experience at the host! Natasha and team were lovely, especially the dogs! They give lunch and a room to yourself. It is physically demanding and you work full days but you will be given good amount of days off to explore Taipei and Tamsui. Overall I highly recommend if you're a pet lover!
