Hostel Receptionist & Event Planner
The experience
We're a large hostel in Shkoder center - the capital of northern Albania!
Join our international team. Currently, we have owners who are native to Shkoder, a marketing specialist from the US & 3 volunteers from all over. We'd love to have you help in reception and event planning. If you enjoy interacting face-to-face with travelers & feel energized being around people, this position is for you.
What you offer
30 hours of help per week
Party Promoter:
Help organise and promote parties and social activities.
Administration:
Help with booking systems and payments.
Reception:
Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Team Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.
Breakfast:

Requirements
Fluent English
Between 20 and 35 years old
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa
Program Details
We'd love to have you help with reception and event planning too.
We can offer a bed in the volunteer dorm room and two meals - breakfast and lunch. We need to have someone long-term for the whole summer. Please only apply if you can stay for a few months.
Activities & Shift
We need someone 6 days a week, for 5 hours a day, with one day off per week. Shifts will vary and we can be flexible too.
Duties will be like: being present at reception to answer questions, manage bookings, plan events, sell tours to guests, and contribute to the social atmosphere of the hostel (and with any other tasks that as asked sometimes like helping with beds occasionally).
