The experience
As a Community Engagement Volunteer, you will play a pivotal role in fostering meaningful connections within the community and promoting the organization's mission. Your dedication and enthusiasm will contribute to the success of our initiatives aimed at creating positive social change and improving the well-being of individuals in need.
duties:
Outreach and Networking: Engage with refugee women, and families
What you offer
18 hours of help per week
Teaching Sports:
Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.
Elderly Care:
Assisting and spending time with the elderly.
Social Work:
Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.
Child Care:
Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Certificate:
Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.
Basic Internet Access:
Basic speed internet for you to work remotely
Requirements
Intermediate English or Intermediate French
Between 18 and 80 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details
Program work of Rehori volunteer is
To participant in field and all our daily activities,
To coordinate and up-skills Rehori's staff
To share the knowledge and promote the peer to peer education
To establish the resources Mobilization protocol and Networking
Collaboration and capacity building Rehori's team.
not limited there and other tactics the volunteers has/ experiences
Rehori team will make sure the volunteer is secured and safety from any harmful forms and we ensure our flexibility on any change and rescheduling again...venue dates or working overtime with our volunteer if is needed
Activities & Shift
Activities: At REHORI, volunteers engage in GBV awareness, support, and education through fieldwork and community training, focusing on protection, rights advocacy, and empowerment. Activities include workshops, outreach, and organizing awareness events around critical dates like IWD, FGM Day, and Human Rights Day, reinforcing commitment to gender equity, resilience, and safety for all community members.
Shift: Volunteers contribute from 4-6 hours 5 days/weekly , and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., aligning with REHORI’s structured work week. Shifts offer opportunities to participate in both office-based and fieldwork activities, ensuring flexibility and a comprehensive experience in GBV support and outreach.
