Mirel and his family were really nice, and they're all great cooks (excellent) ! There was a retreat for a week, and as I came here to cook, I helped in the kitchen peeling vegetables, preparing salads, and doing the dishes. I also helped ironing and gardening. The communication with Mamaya wasn't easy, but after a talk with Mirel it really improved. I had the opportunity to learn more about meditation (normal) ! Mirel has lots of discipline and shares a lot about his philosophy, which is based on heteronormativity. The place is really beautiful (unbelievable) and I made friends for life ☀️

Mirel is an amazing human being who made me feel welcome since I entered Romania. He is very devoted to his mission and he is a person you get to know a lot from. My biggest gift was feeling like everything is possible, and instead of making excusses, I can direct my energy to my goals. This was my first WP experience, and I am very pleased I chose this place to begin from. I had a lot of free time and, aldo I loved that, I was the only volunteer at that time and I soon started feeling a bit lonely. Job was modified because I came at winter season and could not work outside.

This was my first Worldpackers experience and it was a 10/10! Mirel, Lily and Mamaia made me feel part of the family. One day I would be learning Romanian with Mirel's mom, another I would be on walks with the other volunteers :) Mirel is one of those people who has been through 7 different lives already and that truly is inspiring, so if you are seeking an experience in the middle of nature, learning something everyday like I was, then this might be for you!

The Center is an incredible spiritual retreat center that offers a deeply enriching experience. My time there was transformative in many ways, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for personal growth and introspection. Mirel is an amazing host, very kind, welcoming, and full of wisdom. Mamaya is also such a lovely person, always warm and caring, making the environment feel like home. However this place is quite isolated, far from the city. If you're looking for a more social experience or want easy access to urban life.

My time at the Center was absolutely incredible, it felt like a home away from home and I was blown away by the generosity of Mirel, Patrutcsa and Mamaya. It was the perfect opportunity to connect with nature, learn more about local culture and cuisine (the food is DELICIOUS!!!). They truly try to give every volunteer the best experience and I honestly could not recommend it enough:)

Mirel is quite simply an amazing host. He's a caring, kind, compasionate and simply put, an incredible person. Him and his family reflect this, which you will see. The place is well maintained and he will always help whether it be little things like food cravings to pick-ups from places. The tasks are reasonable, flexible and are asked rather than commanded. If you wish to immerse yourself in Romanian culture from the food to people then this is the place. I will say though that there's no set to-do list and tasks are difficult to identify given we are only here briefly but you can always ask!

Volunteering at the Center immerses you in local culture and nature, with delicious meals, vibrant landscapes, and spectacular sunsets. Sharing work and moments with locals and other volunteers is what makes this experience so enriching, and I met incredible people. Mirel is an open-minded and generous person who does everything he can to make everyone feel good and comfortable. Everyone in his family, as well as the volunteers, made this an amazing and welcoming journey. Thank you very much, Mirel and everyone! 🦋

Here's the revised text: --- It was my first experience with Worldpackers, and I couldn't be more glad. The host and his family are welcoming, flexible, and friendly. Besides the work with animals, construction, and repairs, which were simple tasks in themselves, I connected with nature and with the other volunteers! I am grateful for the comfort and for the chance to explore the area and gain valuable insights from the host. ---

The place is truly incredible, full of nature and peace. Mirel is a fantastic person, friendly, understanding, fun, and calm, and his mother is also a gem of a person, funny and caring. With these wonderful people, it was easy to feel at home. The work is flexible and quite accessible, and much easier and more enjoyable if all the volunteers work as a team. It was truly a pleasure to have been part of this project and to have shared this experience with my fellow volunteers. Thank you very, very much, Mirel!
