Program Details

We have welcomed volunteers from all over the world, and many of them are now part of the family. We love having people volunteer with us but we kindly ask our volunteers to donate a minimum of one week of their time. The Foundation is our home and it can take a few days to get to know us and our routines. You will have a more satisfying experience the longer you stay with us.

Activities & Shift

This is our independent skills training program. A live in program our male and female dormitories house a total of twelve people.
Currently we have four women and six men participating in this program.
The focus of the program is on developing independence and self-confidence. Everyone is responsible for their own self-care and laundry and we all join in to do the cooking and cleaning. The hope is that the skills we learn will help people to move out of the Foundation and into their own home in the future.
Whilst our dormitory program is for training we are also a family. We live together, eat together, love, care and support each other every day.

Rules

It is important that you make yourself aware of the laws about volunteering in Indonesia and that you know that compliance with these laws is your responsibility.
