Thảo is an incredible teacher, storyteller, farmer, and friend— overall an exceptional person. Her home is beautiful, but more than that, so are she, her family, and her neighbors. While staying here, I was able to form unforgettable connections with the people around me thanks to Thảo's guidance. I sang karaoke and danced with the family across the street, learned to drive a motorcycle, shopped at the local market, visited museums and farms, and created enough memories to last a lifetime. I wish Worldpackers gave me more words to praise this homestay. Highly recommend.

After spending a week at the home's homestay, I leave grounded, peaceful and deeply grateful. This experience helped me to slow down, change my rhythm and reflect on my own posture as a European girl travelling through Vietnam. It invited me to step back on my own journey, both outwardly and inwardly. the home is an incredibly inspiring person, sincerely curious about people's stories and cultures, and deeply cares about cultivating peace - whithin oneself, the garden and the world. She's also deeply committed into cultivating Vietnamese traditions with respect for her community.

Wow… I cannot recommend the home's homestay enough. 5 stars is an understatement. The host, the home, is one of the most generous and intelligent person you will ever meet. Upon arrival, she and her amazing family greet you and you immediately feel like you're at home. She provides a very cozy private room for you and cooks some of the most delicious food, most of which is grown in her garden. She has a very keen knowledge about all the plants and animals in her garden and surrounding area and she always stops to tell you what she knows. You will leave this experience feeling extremely fulfilled.

My experience at the home was amazing overall. the home is a very kind and funny person, with big dreams (and she will fulfill them over time), and shared her views. She is caring, helped me with booking buses and gave me all the details needed. I was never hungry and the food was very good. Banh Mi became my favorite breakfast in Krong Pac. We had day-trips at waterfalls, museums, cafes and other nice places and she planned them well. Ask her to give you work in the garden or other chores needed. You will also have plenty of time to relax in the hammock and eat countless local fruits.

Mostly the home cares about learning more about other countries and cultures, and teaching about Vietnam and its traditions. The homestay is very comfortable and you get everything you need. And volunteer work and activities are based on what you enjoy! She's very ambitious about her homestay and she wants to open more in the future. She looked after me very well when I was a bit ill and made me feel at home. Also, the home showed me around her village and neighbouring towns on her motorbike, taking me to local cafes and restaurants!

I had an incredible experience during my time in Vietnam. the home always made a genuine effort to make me feel welcome and supported — her kindness and care meant a lot to me. What I'll miss the most are our evening card games, which were full of laughter and great conversation. I learned so much, not just in terms of skills and work, but also about the culture, the people and myself. Thank you for the unforgettable memories and all the support along the way. cảm ơn rất nhiều! 🙏🇻🇳

If I had to describe the home's homestay in 1 word, it would be healing. Staying there for a week in the natural environment, eating an organic diet (lots of fruits), working on projects together and having a meaningful exchange with other volunteers. All of these helped me to find my balance. Not only did I learn alot about Vietnamese culture, I also learned alot about life. the home is enthusiastic to share and learn from you as well.

Staying at the home's Homestay was a wonderful opportunity. I learned so much about authentic Vietnamese culture and cuisine — and the food was absolutely delicious! I really want to thank the home for always doing her best to make her guests feel comfortable and welcome. She is passionate, full of strong ideas and opinions (which you can clearly tell when she talks), and she's also incredibly funny! I hope you come to Spain someday so I can host you!! Wish all the best and for all your dreams to come true❤️

Hahaha, finally, my turn⌯>ᴗo⌯ .ᐟ.ᐟI took a 22+ hour long-distance bus from Hanoi to Buon Ma Thuot. As the Grab car carried me to the homestay, I looked out the window and knew instantly—this was a healing place. The blue sky felt so peaceful, though I wished I could stay longer than just four days.I became friends with my host, who generously shared her knowledge of traditional Vietnamese medicine. I was fascinated by the cultural connections I noticed, I enjoyed my time with Clara from Spain and XinLei from Singapore. I'd love to return someday—and I have a feeling.A truly heartwarming journey
