Manoj took good care. Showed me around. Got lovely lunch every day. He really cared and showed me the town and explained a lot. Unfortunately there weren't many guests during my stay so socialising with other travellers was nearly impossible. But I had a local experience:) I had to leave sooner and he was so nice and understanding about it. Thanks Manoj for this unique experience!

My experience at the hostel with Manoj was very good. We visited the main sights of the hostel and produced some videos for the hostel's social networks. Manoj is always very kind, willing to help and very flexible. I would definitely recommend this volunteer. Thanks Manoj!!!!!

The experience was great. Manoj is a friendly, kind person and always willing to help. The Hostel is very well located, close to the attractions of the hostel of Kandy and is easy to get to from the train and bus station.

I've had an absolutely amazing time at the hostel in Kandy. The host is truly incredible—he goes above and beyond to take care of you and genuinely wants to share his culture and knowledge. It's like being welcomed into a family. I've made so many new friends here, and Kandy has started to feel like a second home to me. The experiences I've had have been life-changing, and a big part of that is because of how chill and flexible the host is. He really knows how to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Had an absolutely amazing time at the hostel! Manoj is the best host and really makes you feel at home. He taught and showed me a lot about the local Kandyan culture and had great ideas for the work tasks. It was a perfect balance of immersing in the local culture with Manoj and meeting other travellers. Really recommend!

My time at the hostel was really nice! Manoj is a patient host and always willing to take you around the hostel and tell you more about the history of Kandy. i had a lot of contact with local people and that was one of the things i enjoyed most about my time here. the hostel is simple but has everything you need, and the hours and tasks are very flexible, so I had a lot of free time to explore the hostel and nature around Kandy, and also to rest or enjoy the time here with some of the guests. i definitely recommend it if you want to have a more immersive and local experience.

Manoj made my volunteer experience very successful! He gave me tasks that were clear! But above all his hospitality is out of this world!
