Visual anthropology project in Peru
The experience
The tasks are related to the different stages of visual content development, especially pre- and post-production: script structure, image collection techniques, video editing, among others. The technical assistance and analytical and creative suggestions of volunteers in their role are appreciated.
What you offer
15 hours of help per week
Video Making:
Create, edit and publish digital videos.

What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Between 18 and 80 years old
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details
This visual project is aimed to get to know, analyse and formulate a field research (production) in order to employ visual technologies to create and aproachment in the comprension of social aspects and problems of Peru.
The tasks are related to the different stages of visual content development, especially pre- and post-production: script structure, image collection techniques, video editing, among others. The technical assistance and analytical and creative suggestions of volunteers in their role are appreciated.
The preparation times for the visual project are completely flexible, but it is advisable to agree on a work schedule prior to your stay.
It is expected to produce a result in a visual ethnographic format that can be informative, that is, open to the local public in general in order to guide reflection on their ways of life in their social space coordinates.
