The camping was a wild ride from the very first minute, in the best way! I'm super grateful for the real friendships I made there, and I'll never forget how fun and chaotic it was to live in our little tent neighborhood. The working hours are chill and fair, and there's always time for a quick swim or a kayak adventure. The food? So damn good. And I'm seriously going to miss those random dance sessions at the bar, some of the best moments!

Fully recharged from the nature and astonishing crystal water of the camping. I am glad I got along with other volunteers those laughs will last forever. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The work schedule was respected and the tasks were easy managed. Loved the food, and the music played. I would love to go back :) Çok teşekkür ederim

I'd not recommend the place for volunteering and working unless management improves their attitude: 1) Boss's discussion with me! (Super rude , ignorant, fake and close-minded elderly) Can you believe he used swearing when talking to me during discussion. I mean directed at me in an offensive way, what kind of professional "boss"-employee relationship is this?! Boss, not the host-Ahmed (he tried to help) 2)Extra working hours than discussed: rather than 5, i was working around at least 8 hours. Did even work during my free day 3) Fake vegan/ vegeterian options and fake sipiritual place

We were disappointed that Ali missed most of the shamanic ceremony a special guest from altai region, which was one of the most important events of the season. He was informed, scheduled, and even reminded personally. While he arrived briefly, he left before the key moments, so we couldn’t properly document the experience.

It’s also been noted that his focus has been more on subjects of personal interests rather than the collective responsibilities.

The camping was a great volunteering experience. The volunteers were so kind and from all corners of the world, and experiencing cultural exchange with them was really valuable. Lots of the staff were amazing to us, even if there was a pretty significant language barrier. I personally had a good experience at the bar, with a good workload and clear management. However, I know this was not the same for other teams, who frequently experienced frustrating lapses in communication. There is definitely some room for management to develop, but I had a wonderful time nonetheless!!

I'm 19 and had a terrible experience here. I was judged unfairly, moved between roles without clear info, then suddenly kicked out with no warning. Five other people were told to leave that same morning. The tent I got wasn't the one shown way smaller, full of ants and mold. Staff were overworked and mistreated. I was alone in a foreign country and scared. Thankfully, Worldpackers helped me find a place to stay. If you want a full, honest review, feel free to message me on Worldpackers I'm happy to share everything.

Hi Katerina,

I'm sorry I wasn’t personally present during your volunteering experience. I was in İstanbul at the time, and I believe things might have been different in terms of communication if I had been there.

Butterfly Valley is a big and dynamic place, and clear communication is really important to keep things flowing well. When I returned, the team explained the situation to me. I hope rest of your Türkiye experience went well. I wish you all the best in your journey.

This place is a true paradice on Earth! I will never forget the cristal blue water, the stunning views and the countless sunsets over the sea! The work was generally easy and the vibe was chill, but I was there when the end of the season was beginning. Everyone had a tent for themselves with electricity inside, laundry 2 times a week, free kayaks and paddle boards, also boat trips when it was your free day, so I am very satisfied I can't complain about the food, either. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and there were a lot of volunteers, which made me feel like a part of a big family

My time at the valley was truly one of a kind. The environment itself is so beautiful and secluded, feels like a little oasis. But it's really the people that made this experience unforgettable, from the staff to the volunteers everyone is so friendly and operate as one community. 100% would recommend and will try to be back!

My recent experience in the camping was incredibly magical. The secluded valley provided the perfect environment for self reflection, connection with nature and unforgettable experiences. From the moment I arrived, I was overwhelmed by the atmosphere and the warmth of the staff and the volunteers. The team was incredibly welcoming and supportive, making me feel right at home. It really was a place where I could recharge, reconnect with myself and create lasting memories. A huge thank you to everyone who made my stay unforgettable. You guys truly are amazing souls.

This was my very first volunteer experience with worldpackers, and I could not wish for a better one! Hosts and other staff members are very welcoming, the teamwork is nice too. I recommend this place if you like being in nature and do not mind physically challenging work.
