The second I got off the boat Ahmet greeted me and gave a tour of the facilities. It is a gorgeous place with stunning nature. The volunteer group we had was incredible, so we all bonded over bonfires on the beach and became close friends. The personnel is very warm and welcoming and eager to help. A word of advice: put an effort to learn Turkish a little beyond "Thank you, good morning" I promise it will enrich your experience and will deepen your connection with the staff. Honestly, like any place it is not perfect but it has heart and character. Can't wait to return in the future!

The camping is a truly stunning place to be in. Only accessible by boat, it feels like you are completely immersed in the natural world, which is exactly what I wanted/needed! I loved being so close to the ocean, each day I go swimming. The team is incredibly warm and welcoming - I've been able to practice a bit of my Turkish with the other staff members! It does feel like you are on school camp - everyone works together, lives together, eats together, which makes for a great community spirit! I was the first volunteer of the season, but now there is a nice group!

The camping is a truly magical place, the nature here is top notch, and the other volunteers were amazing!! Food was good, although a little repetitive, no fruits, but I would buy some in town on my day off. They have hot showers and the tent is super comfy. Most year round staff members are great, shout out to Bob! Only thing to keep in mind is the volunteer coordinator is rarely at the valley, and also since it was nearing off season my main job- yoga teacher- was changed which was a little disappointing.

Overall I really enjoyed my time at the camping. I learnt a lot about myself and added to my skill set as a photographer. The photography role is really hands on as you are required to capture the guests during the daily events as well as offering photos during sunset and golden hour. All content needs to be edited and posted the next day, so good to have a laptop to keep things easier if you're there for a long time. This role is a great way to make deeper connections with the guests, volunteers and workers as comes naturally when taking someone's photo.

Mi experiencia en the camping fue hermosa por las personas con las que compartí, mis compañeros de voluntariado y trabajadores. Para llegar ahí hay que tomar un bote y es gratis :) Las comidas son tres como lo dice pero limitadas en porción. Al inicio no tuve un area especifica de tarea pero luego si. El lugar tiene varias reglas que deberían aclarar antes, y a veces nos separan mucho de los trabajadores.

Increíble lugar, las personas son muy amables, sobre todo Ahmet, es un lugar donde conectas con la naturaleza y las personas locales, aprendí muchas cosas, son como una familia, sin duda regresaría a este lugar, gracias por todo!!!! ❤️
