The experience

Your volunteering will be mainly teaching us English, we only speak Spanish and we want to learn this language.
The place where we live has a swimming pool, board games, a gym and you can enjoy them during your stay. Likewise, the city of Bogotá is very close and you can go explore and walk around.
There are places to go to the movies, and also enjoy a variety of cuisine.
There are also places nearby to connect with nature and go for walks.

What you offer

10 hours of help per week

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English or Fluent Portuguese

Between 18 and 40 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Be from outside Colombia

Program Details

Hello! We are a married couple, we want to learn English, therefore, we hope that the person who comes will teach us the oral and written English language as much as possible, we have schedules for this.

From us, the volunteer can expect us to let him know a little about life in Mosquera Cundinamarca, near Bogotá, and also go to Bogotá or nearby places around our house.
Here the volunteer can cook his own food and share his culture with us.

Activities & Shift

We can set times during the day to learn English and the rest of the time is free, it can be two hours a day previously agreed upon.
