Alex was a wonderful host. He was very flexible and generous. I felt like part of the family. I stayed in his father's apartment and it felt like a second home. We even threw a surprise dinner for his father's birthday. I had so much fun and it was my first volunteering experience. I am certain that we will stay in touch xx

The place is absolutely beautiful, and I must say that the photos don't do justice to the real charm we found there. Our host Aleksander and his family were extremely kind and helpful, always ready to assist us with everything we needed during our stay. We only faced one difficulty regarding not having a fixed place to stay, which ended up causing a small misunderstanding with one of the host's friends at the first location where we settled, and unfortunately it also led to our early departure from the city. Even so, the experience was very special and is definitely worth it.

Aleksandar and his family are super kind people! They treat us very well and even helped me when I needed to go to the hospital. Bajina Basta is a beautiful town, the boat, and the whole area are incredible. We helped with the cleaning and kayaking, but in the end, we didn't have many activities left—due to the weather and probably because it was late summer. The only thing it's that you need to be flexible, because there's not a properly time of work or specific place to stay, we moved once and needed to go 2 days earlier. But all good!

I had an amazing time volunteering at the boat with Aleksandar and his family! They were incredibly welcoming hosts and made it so I felt at home for my entire stay. I was amazed by how beautiful the boat Perućac and the surrounding areas were! The work was easy, I primarily helped with kayaking tours and cleaning the boat. I had plenty of free time to hang out on the boat and to explore Bajina Bašta. I would 100% recommend this exchange to others!

I had a great time at the boat. Aleksander and his family were so nice, and I had plenty of time to experience the culture and nature in Bajina Basta. I helped at the boat, mostly with housekeeping and some maintenance. Bajina Basta is a beautiful place with lakes, rivers, and a natural park. I definitely recommend volunteering at the boat.
