Had the most amazing time at the project! It was my first volunteering experience and it couldn't have been better!! Everyone was so welcoming, the place itself is a paradise, full of nature, animals and beautiful people! Had the chance to explore other cities around on my free days, but the place itself trapped me in a way that I did not want to leave! Shout out to Jade and her delicious meals that she cooked every single day, as well as being behind the organization of all the volunteers! Will definitely come back next year and stay for longer!

My experience in the project was truly amazing, I was welcomed since day one, I met really amazing people, Ruby and Dimi are very fun and friendly hosts, the permanent staff (Trish, Sarah and Jade) are also really open and cool people, all of them really flexible and understanding, the project is an amazing place to connect with nature. There's always more volunteers so you never feel alone, a lot of play and movie nights, a lot of sunsets to see, cute dogs, time goes by really fast and you're enjoying every moment, Definitely an unforgettable experience.

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I really loved it! The work was fun and I got to da lot of different things, for example room flips, taking care of the garden and sewing. Ruby and Dimi are two loving people, and the others too! The chef, Jade, makes delicious food. I lived in a dorm with the other volunteers, and you really become like a family. We had movie nights, dance parties, often watched the sunset, played pool and poker. On my days off I traveled to Carcassonne, Montréal, Bram, Montpellier and Toulouse. If you have the same days off as someone, you can go together.

Staying at the project was the best adventure of my life! I'm going to miss them all. House and garden are stunning and meals are very tasty. Working on social media was fun and I'Ve learnt a lot. There was enough time for travelling, party, chilling - all that you need. Tips for other Worldpackers: If you are nature lover and don't mind spiders, frogs, bats or lizard around this is a great place to go. Accommodation is cozy and I didn't mind sleeping in the same room with other volunteers but if have issue with that or you're pedantic it might be a problem. Take mosquito spray with you!

I'm extremely happy and grateful for my first volunteer experience here. I initially planned to stay three months, but quickly fell in love with the project and asked to extend my stay. This place is an ecological oasis filled with art, and visited by people who aspire to a better, united world. The meals, mostly vegetarian, are delicious and made with fresh, locally grown vegetables. Flexibility is key, as tasks change weekly depending on guest flow. During free time, you can enjoy the natural pool, explore nearby areas using electric bikes, or take lifts to the train station and visit cities

I am very happy to have had the opportunity to volunteer in such a beautiful place with an incredible energy. This was my first volunteering experience and Ruby and Dimi have truly built an impactful place. The connection with nature and the other volunteers was very strong to me. The work at the house was tiring but manageable and the meals were mostly vegetarian and really good. I learned many things that I'll carry with me for life and met wonderful people whom I hope to see again. Thank you for the time I spend there and I hope to come back someday! 🥰💖

I had a wonderful time! The hosts created a truly magical place with the Manor House, the large gardens and the natural pool. Environmental awareness is lived through and through and I learned a lot about environmentally friendly growing techniques. The gardening was so fun and enriching. We lived closely with the very kind and hard-working permanent stuff who, among other things, provided us with phenomenal food. The volunteers live in a large dorm in an old barn which is not really closed off to the outside. However the lack of privacy meant that we grew very close as a group. I'm thankful!

I would definitely recommend this place ! The food is amazing, often vegetarian. When I arrive, there were not a lot of guests, I was a little bored. However, it's actually an ideal place to experiment with the degrowth economic theory. I helped with dishes, laundry & ironing. After that, I did photography and and social media for 2 weeks. The volunteer's room is a modest dorm, a little cold if the weather is cold. There are mosquitos, be aware. You can go to Toulouse or Carcassonne. The natural pool is amazing ! It was overall a great experience ! Great place to connect with nature !

Staying at the project has been the best worldpackers experience I could ever hope for. Ruby and Dimi are such amazing hosts who make you feel welcome all the time. Sarah, Tricia, and Jade are incredible and Jade makes amazing food! The tasks are enjoyable if you are someone who is willing to help out with lots of different things, and the property is an amazing place to spend time in. Ruby has created a little fairy forest that is a magical world hidden from the outside. I was only meant to stay 3 weeks but it's going to be 5 as I have fallen in love with the project family ❤️
