Live in a Buddhist Monastery in Mongolia, teach English to monks
The experience
Come and spend some time living in a Buddhist Monastery in Mongolia. You'll be living amongst the monks and participate in the daily tasks of the Monastery. You can participate in the prayers, the yoga classes, and your main task will be to teach English to the younger monks.
We offer three meals a day and private room or shared if there is another teacher volunteer, Join us!

What you get

Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Language lessons:
Take free language classes at our place.
Basic Internet Access:
Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details
Your main task will be to teach english to the monks, for around 2 hours per day. Your help for cooking and cleaning will not be required, only if you want to.
There is a small school right next to the Monastery, so that is where you will be teaching. There is a teacher's room where you could stay overnight. Also in the monks dormitory, there is private rooms. For you to choose.
Between lessons, and on free days, you will have free time, you are not forced to follow the monks all day in their activities of course. Only for you to choose if you want to take part in their activities and the prayers. Besides that, the area around the monastery is beautiful, you can hike, meet families... If you wanted to, you could stay for a few days with a family in a yurt, it's easy to organize. Same for horse riding, very easy to organize.

Due to the strict life of the monks and on their request, we cannot accept application from woman below the age of 50 years old.
