Program Details
We expect you to have experience in cooking vegetarian meals. We usually serve vegetarian, but sometimes we have guests who are vegan and or gluten-free, so you also need to have some experience in making vegan and or gluten-free food.
You need to have at least 4-6 known dishes that can be eaten Buffet style and shared between up to 10-25 people. (in the height of summer we can have a lot of people eating lunch).
We have menus/recipes that you can follow if you run out of dishes. If it is a busy day we can give another volunteer to help you in the kitchen and a kitchen hand.
The cooking works best if you have a meal plan worked out for the days you are cooking, then when we go grocery shopping we can make sure the kitchen is stocked with all the necessary ingredients.
The day you arrive to us is counted as your first day off

Rules
We have a meeting in the morning, it is mandatory to be present (only on the days you will be working)
If your cooking is not up to our standard you may be asked to not cook anymore. We have alternative volunteering packages available. Please message for more information.
We sometimes have more than one chef on site, so you might not be cooking for each volunteering day, instead you will be asked to help with completing chores for the Housekeeping role.
You will only have the lunch on the days you are cooking. You will have to supply yourself with lunch on your days off.
