The Experience
We've begun the process of restoring and converting a 200 year old English tying beam barn into living space. Next phase is to replace all the sills (we're milling them with our own sawmill from white pines from the farm) and scarfing in the bottoms of some of the main posts. But first, we need to pour a footing and support wall for the former lower level animal entry. Great project for a team of people who love wood and tradition.
