The experience

We are looking for help running our Road Cycling Specialist B&B . You won’t mind pitching in with any kind of task, (cleaning, kitchen help, gardening) and have a good sense of humour and like meeting new people. We hope that you will be able to learn about the hospitality industry & cooking skills during your stay with us. You will usually eat with our guests every evening - restaurant quality food!


What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens


What you get

1 day off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely


Requirements

Intermediate English or Beginner French

Over 20 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Travel insurance

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Program Details

The basic activities are helping with our guests, clearing breakfast, helping in the kitchen, organising bedrooms, serving and clearing dinner.
Hours will be a little bit more than 30h/week but a big part of them involve serving and just plain eating and enjoying our meals :)
You can even learn a little french along the way, but please be aware that most of our cycling guests are Anglophones and we speak English at home!
