The experience

Farming and Agriculture support aims at addressing issues related to improving soil fertility while conserving the nature. Rwanda is one of the countries with the highest density whereby agriculture constitutes over 90%. Both agriculture and settlements have contributed to huge loss of soil and land scarcity. The programme is designed to give passionate, graduated and professionals in farming, soil management, crop management, erosion control,.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 30 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Description: That amount helps us pay the accommodation, provide meals, communication and transport to and from the working place.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Program Details

Volunteer for this programme will be working with local beneficiaries and other stakeholders including conservation and development agencies as well as the local authorities. In order to provide volunteers with many opportunities to learn and contribute to community conservation efforts in Rwanda, volunteers are elected to join the team that represents us in functions, meetings and other conservation gathering.We expects a pro-active volunteer ready to use the personal curiosity to learn and passion to move forward this programme.
