In our center, 30 children (aged 2-4) receive literacy classes based on Montessori method , baby care, and nutrition support, contributing to the overall physical and mental development of the children. Additionally, regular parent meetings are conducted to raise awareness and foster parental involvement in their children's development. These children come to the center every day from 9:30 am and are in center till 3pm. we have three trained teachers to guide and take care of these children . Each day is plan in advance where the children follow their design schedule for activities, nap and eating.
As a volunteer willing to participate in this program, we can assist the teachers in overall activities with the kids and help the teachers in preparing materials , designing activities etc.

Activities & Shift

Start your day with breakfast at 7:30 a.m., enjoying a typical Nepali meal with the rest of the volunteers.

From 8 to 9, you'll have time with the teachers to prepare materials, discuss topics, plan training sessions, etc.

The objective of volunteering is not to directly interfere with the activities conducted by our local staff at the school. While you can spend the day in class observing and participating in activities, these will always be guided by our teachers.

Recharge at 1 p.m. with a delicious lunch prepared by our local staff.

After children go home, unwind in the tranquil setting of Bastipur and admire the beautiful sunset by the river. Your dinner of dhal bhat is already prepared in the kitchen.

Friday is a shorter day. After breakfast, we sit for a team meeting with other volunteers and the coordinator to evaluate the week's activities and the overall experience.
