Additionally, programs in the arts foster creativity and personal growth, while sports activities enhance physical abilities and teamwork.

As a non-governmental organization (NGO), the school offers classes during the children’s extracurricular hours in the afternoons and evenings, providing a supportive and enriching environment beyond their regular school curriculum.

Rules

The additional fee of $6 per day is broken down in the following way:
• $5 towards high-quality meals for all volunteers, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It also goes towards Wifi located at our homestay(no need for you to purchase a sim card), electricity, and clean water(Our homestay has a water filtration system allowing you to drink water stright from the tap!)
• $1 towards general school maintenance. Our school is very rural making it difficult to have the proper infrastructure needed for a safe and comfortable learning enviornement. This extra $3 is essential for the school to maintain an effective learning enviornment for the children!

Please be aware that we charge a $20(includes a free tour) one time fee if you need to be picked up from Siem Reap or the airport. We are located rurally so it about a 45 minute drive from either location! Please let us know what time and day you would like to be picked up, and we can arrange the pickup! We do have other options for pickup so please let us know and we will be able to figure something out!

Our weekly optional tours(included if you pay for the $20 pickup) include activities such as visits to local markets, watching the sunrise in the forest, and participating in traditional religious ceremonies. You are welcome to join these experiences, which offer deeper insight into the local culture.

During your stay at our home, you will have your own private room. We kindly ask you to keep it clean and organized. Please note that shoes are not permitted inside the house, in accordance with local customs.

To respect Cambodian cultural norms, during your time in the school, women are required to wear pants or skirts that cover their knees, and everyone (men and women) must ensure their shoulders are covered.
