The experience

We are looking for help with daily operational tasks around the premise in exchange for free accommodation.

Socialer Coliving & Coworking Space offers dorm rooms, private rooms, and workspace for travelling digital nomads; on top of that, we host internal and external events for both guests and local community, such as workshops, outings, meetups.


What you offer

6 hours of help per day

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely


Requirements

Fluent English

Between 18 and 40 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

As an operation assistant, you will get you will enjoy free accommodation in one of our dorm rooms staying with other guests. Your main role is to make sure the place is tidy, clean, and available to accommodate customers, assisting customers to checkin/out or answer questions, plus a little bit of social media management.


Activities & Shift

Morning routine (before 09:00):
Turn off AC, open windows and doors for air circulation.
Sweep & mop floors, clear dishes in kitchen, make a fresh pot of coffee.
Turn on all lights on ground floor, switch door sign to "Open".
Put all chairs and desks in place.

Evening routine (at 18:00-20:00):
Turn on AC in room, close doors.
Sweep floors, clear dishes in kitchen, clean the coffee maker.
Close front door, switch door sign to "Close", turn off lights in areas no one is using.
Put all chairs and desks in place.

Throughout the day, there might be some additional tasks to take care of, such as
putting fresh laundry away when it's delivered, collect packages, or assisting customers to check in/out.


Rules

1. Follow local laws & regulations, you're responsible for your own safety.
2. Follow other house rules like taking off shoes on guest room floors, keep a low volume after 22:00, only eat & drink sugary drinks in the dining area, no smoking/vaping in door...etc. Be a good role model to other guests.
3. We sign an exchange agreement with every volunteer.
